A Little Guy Woking in His Big Kitchen

Sambal Prawns

300g prawns, slit back and deveined, retain tail
1 onion, peeled and shredded
2 tbsp oil

Sambal Paste
3 tbsp chopped shallots
2 tbsp chopped dried prawns
1 tsp belacan powder
2 tbsp chilli paste

1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
100ml curry powder


1. Heat up 2 tbsp oil and saute sambal paste until fragrant. Add in seasoning and stir well.
2. Add in onion shreds and stir-fry until aromatic. Add in prawn and stir-fry until cooked.
