A Little Guy Woking in His Big Kitchen

Garlic Char Xiu Sauce

2 whole garlic, chopped
3 tbsp oyster sauce
4 tbsp light soya sauce
4 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp shaoxing wine
2 tsp 5 spice powder
500ml water
1 tsp corn flour, mixed with 1 tbsp water for thickeningMethod
Heat up2 tbsp oil and saute chopped garlic until gragrant. Add in remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Lower the heat and continue to boil for 5 mins. Thicken with corn flour.
