Deep Fried 5 Spice Pork Belly

Ingredients A

1.5 kg pork belly, cut into thick slices for deep frying in oil

Ingredients B

2 Eggs

2 tbsp plain flour


Dash of salt

1 1/2 tbsp ginger juice

1 1/2 tbsp shallot juice

1 tbsp 5 spice powder

2 tbsp brandy or rice wine


1. Combine pork belly with marinade and mix well. Marinate for 1 hr or refrigerated overnight.

2. Before deep frying, add in B and mix well

3. Heat up oil for deep frying, deeo fry the pork belly at medium heat until golden brown. Dish and drain.
