A Little Guy Woking in His Big Kitchen

Ingredients

4 pcs chicken whole leg cut into pieces

50g Assam Jawa mix with 200g water

120g thick Santan

4 sprigs Kaffir Lime leaves

1 tbsp lime juice

Seasoning

Dash of salt, sugar and MSG

Spices (grounded)

5 tbsp Chili Boh

12 pcs Shallots

5 cloves Garlic

2 stalks Serai

1 small piece Balacan (toast)

5g Tumeric

5 pcs buah keras

Method

1. Heat up 5 tbsp oil and saute grounded spices until fragrant.

2. Add in chicken and stir-fry. Then pour in Assam Jawa juice and kaffir leaves, continue to simmer in low heat until the gravy is about to dry up (pic 1-2).

3. Pour in santan and seasoning, once boil, toss in lime juice and dish out (pic 3-4).
